Thanks so much for the follow up. We had an unbelievable time in Cancun at the Grand Oasis Sens. The hotel was a lot of fun, as we attended the foam party the first full day we were there, which was wild! The beach at this resort was way better than the last resort I stayed at in Cancun, so I must thank you for the recommendation. (I do still have what I believe is some water in my ears, as I've been dealing with some vertigo like symptoms over the last week since returning, but nothing a little nasel spray can't fix).
We ended up taking a tour out to Chichen Itza, and the cenote at Ikil, which was a long and hot 13 hour day, but definitely worth the memories.
A week was the perfect amount of time for us on this vacation, as I got sick in the airport on the way home, and was glad to get home to some canadian food and my own bed. I don't know why I was worried about it raining or thunderstorms, as it was sunny and hot every day, and sprinkled for about 15 minutes one day, but that was it. My skin is thrashed and my body is recooperating, but I wanted to thank you for all you help in putting this trip together.
We had an awesome time and can't wait to book our next trip abroad.... I think Europe might be on our radar in the future?
Hope you had the same good luck with the weather in Jamaica as we did in Cancun.
