We had a great time in Allegro Playacar. Since the resort is not so big, our parents were very happy that the beach, food and other amenities were close. The grounds are well kept and surprisingly there was always enough chairs by the pools for everybody. The food was very good and a lot of variety, considering it is a smaller resort. The beach is fantastic, large, and clean with no rough coral stones. Mom loved the easy access to the ocean. The rooms are simpler than in other resorts, but clean. The bathrooms recently renovated. The roofs are made of palm leaves and they are supposed to be good for 7 years. I think that our roof was at least 10 years old, because it was really stinky (mildew) and the last night it started to leak. Our room was in the closest villa to the entertainment area, so we had a very loud music every night until midnight. On the other hand, I have to say that this small resort had more activities that are different from other bigger resorts.
I loved the fact that I could walk to Playa del Carmen as often as I wanted. It was a pleasant 20 minutes walk on the beautiful alley. Our parents are already saying they would like to go back there in the future. Let’s hope they will take us as well!!! I think that is all I had to say. Have a great year!!Friday, January 06, 2017
